Sun is shining , the weather is sweet..Thanks for the title!

Stole the title from a friends Facebook status, sums today up perfectly! We manged to finish a load of projects this morning, and by 11am we where twiddling our thumbs, so we decided to have an impromptu, trip into our local Town, which turned into a trip to the local cathedral, museum and pub lunch as well! Love it, Oh and we finished off the day by doing a science project which made 2 liquids turn into solid jelly worms, Boys where thrilled..and lastly we started to make a paper mache moon.

More half term fun.

Coming to the end of half term , Daddys been off for 2 weeks as well , we have had great fun, popped down to the dickens festival. We did a spot of geocaching, which is essentially finding "treasure" by locating it via co ordinates. People place them all over the world for others to find, its normally just a rolled up bit of paper to find and sign but it's fun as it gets you out and you find new areas you haven't seen before..plus it's free! Join up here http://www.geocaching.com/

Holiday fun and a very wet camping trip!

3 nights camping in a wet campside right next to a major A road, not great fun but we made the most of it and the boys loved it, Thanks to nanny for taking us! We went to the spinaker tower which i thought was very expensive for what it was, and Fisbourne roman musuem which was also about £20 for a family of 4 (under 5 free) but we where there 2 hours instead of 30 minutes and there was a lot for children to interact with as well. All in despite the rain and rubbish night time entertainment we had an enjoyable time!
